CET License Renewal Information

License renewal emails have been sent to Illinois Certified Euthanasia Technicians and may contain some information that is confusing.  The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation has notified us that CETs do not have to complete continuing education for license renewal and thus need not complete the sexual harassment training requirement.  CETs should continue to comply with the requirement in the Act to complete a class on euthanasia (every 5 years) and mark that section appropriately on the renewal application.
